Diaper Stories, Best Diapers in Pakistan
When you are having a baby and that is your first born, you get excited to buy everything best for him. Marketing and media have put so much burden on us for choosing the things that we can get carried away and buy on impulse. But when you start using things, you get to know what is better for you and what is not. Though the items which others have liked too much, might be not for you or your baby. Coming back to the today's topic, i wanted to talk about for very long but compilation took a lot of time. In mean time i got to know many other brands as well.

So today i am sharing my experience of diapers available and quite famous in Pakistan and letting you know what are the best option and what were the worst. I am also looking forward to know your experience as well and if have found the best one or not.

Pampers
Starting from the Pioneer of diapers in Pakistan are Pampers. Pampers are not only the first diaper in Pakistan, but actually they got so much hype through marketing that mostly people say they need pampers but not brand pamper (first hand witness :D). They are the most expensive brand of diapers and the prices were quite high compared the local brands. So, it was the first choice we made and bought the new born pamper diapers for our baby. Quite frankly they have very good material, with thin pad and soft lining and proper closing tags. It worked very good in starting and i liked it very much. After few days, i started noticing the small bumps on the nappy area. It were not rashes but where the tags were used to close, there were red bumps like small pimples. I got checked him with our doctor and he as usual gave a antibiotic tube and asked to keep the baby open and dry. So the first thing i learned, despite being too much talk, the pampers diapers doesn't keep the skin dry for longer and it can cause rashes. Thought we were changing the diapers 5 to 6 times day as suggested, even though he didn't need it.

My Rating for Pampers
Material quality : 5/5
Long lasting dryness : 3/5
Rashes safe : 2/5
Budget friendly : 2/5
Holding and closing panel : 4/5
Comparison of Pampers and Chinese diaper

Canebebe
The second option we got was canebebe and unfortunately, i didn't like at all. May be it was because after we tried pampers first but the material was just OK and the pad was quite thick. It was not leak proof for very long and get very heavy quickly. Because of thick material, our baby got rashes as well. So it was a big no for us.

My Rating for Canebebe
Material quality : 3/5
Long lasting dryness : 2/5
Rashes safe : 1/5
Budget friendly : 3/5
Holding and closing panel : 4/5

Chinese Imported Diapers
We got our hand on Chinese imported diapers as well which were being sold at diaper shops specifically and don't have any name famous for. As according to shop keeper they always get new packaging and some time, they come in plain plastic packaging. It would be easy to say, that these were one of the best diapers we got in quite low price. The packaging was amazing in fact better then pampers, the pad was very thin even i got worried it will leak soon but it lasted very long. The first diaper from which baby didn't get rashes and i quite liked it. However as they have no names and no price check, you might get them low or high price depending on seller. Also, sometimes you don't get them easily, as they are not available everywhere. Now due to corona they are impossible to get.

My Rating for Chinese diapers
Material quality : 5/5
Long lasting dryness : 4/5
Rashes safe : 4/5
Budget friendly : 5/5
Holding and closing panel : 4/5

Nana
These were the good option we found after Chinese one. The material was good enough, though the pad was thick and have purple lining in it. The bad point was that often the gel got leaked from diaper pad. In fact first time i notice little gel while changing, i got really worried. But after some probing in used diaper, i noticed that gel quality is not very good and it can get out if diaper if not changed regularly. Though baby didn't get much rashes from it, but it is prone to leaking quite often. The other bad point was that the magic tape was not very good to hold the diaper and if buy chance it stuck some where else, it loses its sticking ability. So overall the holding and closing panel was not very good.

My Rating for NANA
Material quality : 3/5
Long lasting dryness : 4/5
Rashes safe : 4/5
Budget friendly : 3/5
Holding and closing panel : 3/5

Shield
Once when the nana diapers were short, we picked shield diapers, by the renowned Pakistani brand for feeders and nipples. These diapers were almost similar to nana ones but the quality was little better. The closing panel was better and i never noticed the gel leaking. The material was good and almost similar to nana. There were no leaking and no rashes. I actually quite liked these ones. However they are often out of stock and hard to get. They also increased their prices a lot compared to last year.
Comparison of Bona papa and nana

My Rating for Shield
Material quality : 4/5
Long lasting dryness : 4/5
Rashes safe : 4/5
Budget friendly : 3/5
Holding and closing panel : 4/5

Bona Papa
These are my new favorite. The material of pad is similar to nana and shield but is more soft. The best part is that it has elastic band on back side which makes it perfect for me. It protect the leaking and is easy to wear. The closing panels are also very good. I have never noticed any gel leaking and keeps the skin dry for longer. The only bad point is that side panel is hard plastic and if the size is smaller to your baby waist, it can hurt on skin. So make sure to secure it properly by keeping the inner layer of diaper beneath it and buy right size.

My Rating for Bona Papa
Material quality : 4/5
Long lasting dryness : 4/5
Rashes safe : 4/5
Budget friendly : 4/5
Holding and closing panel : 5/5

Let me know what you think about these diapers which one worked for you. I will update this article as i try any thing better or worst.
